Questions
Straight answers.
Who is pStack?
Four Punjabi developers and designers (Jaskarnvir, Japnoor, Priyanshu and Abhijeet) who work together as one freelance team. The 'p' is for Punjabi. You deal with the people who build your product, not a sales team.
How does a project start?
Send a brief or book a call. We reply within 24 hours with questions, a rough plan or an honest 'not the right fit'. If it's a fit, we scope the work into fixed milestones with a clear price for each.
How do you price?
Per milestone, agreed in writing before we start, so you always know what the next payment is for. We don't bill open-ended hours on build projects. For advisory work we quote a fixed time-box.
Do I own the code?
Yes, all of it. Repositories, designs, infrastructure and documentation are handed over, and we walk your team through them. No lock-in.
What do you build with?
Mostly React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, plus React Native for mobile. We pick what fits the problem and your team, not what's trendy.
Are the projects on this site real?
They're concept projects: design and architecture exercises we built to show how we think, and each one is labelled that way. We'll add client work here once we have permission to show it.
What are the pStack products?
Between client projects we're building a few tools of our own. They're on the Products page as coming soon, with working names only. Leave your email there and we'll tell you when something is real.
Do you work across time zones?
Yes. We're based in India and overlap with Europe and the Americas for calls and weekly demos.
