The problem
Ops teams often run the business out of a database console and long chat threads. Every fix needs an engineer, risky changes have no review, and nobody can say afterwards who changed what.
Project 06 · Internal tools
An internal control panel for orders, users and support, built so the ops team can fix things without engineering.
Concept project: a design and architecture exercise by the pStack team, not client work. Interface figures are illustrative.
The problem
Ops teams often run the business out of a database console and long chat threads. Every fix needs an engineer, risky changes have no review, and nobody can say afterwards who changed what.
The system
A role-based admin panel with bulk actions, saved views and an approval step for risky operations. Every action is either reversible or written to an audit log, and permissions are granular enough that support can refund an order without being able to delete a customer.
What success looks like
Support resolves common issues without engineering, and every change is traceable. We'd track tickets resolved without a developer, time to resolve and the number of untracked changes (the goal is zero).
